Chemical process sequencing of aeronautic parts is a capacity constrained stage of its whole manufacturing process. This stage is complex due to : individual resource sequence per part, constrained duration per type of part and resource assignment, lack of intermediate buffers and automatic part handling.
The collaborative project with the Aciturri company has developed a short-term programming tool for daily-weekly part planning. This tool minimizes the makespan of the planning. Its outputs are arrival and departure times for each part and resource taking into account technical constraints of the process, the facility resources and the quality legislation.
